One thing to watch is the pace of the play from the offenses. If you look at last year both KU and Illinois like to huddle and slow things down. They both finished ranked in the 90s in terms of plays run per game in the national stats.
Last week KU ran two plays in a hurry up offense. I don't know if that's going to be something they go to or if it was something they did just to show Illinois that takes extra time to start preparing for.
I definitely think Daniels will do more with the ball and that means likely taking some hits. He didn't have to scramble much last week.
We will see some more designed run plays and the option for sure. I don't know how many times they will run it but it will certainly be more than the previous week.
