Five-stwe guard Jalil Bethea arrived for his official visit to Kansas on Thursday and made his way back home yesterday. I’ve been working to get Bethea on the phone for an official update, but was able to get a few thoughts from his dad.
First, there was time when it looked like Kansas had some work to do in this recruitment and many believed Kansas was trailing the other schools. At one point, someone told me that Kansas was a “dark house” and could potentially make a move.
Well, Coach Self and his staff rolled out the red carpet this weekend and Bethea and his family were quite impressed. There’a no doubt in my mind that Kansas is a legitimate player here and I think his visit to Kansas will be hard to top.
“The visit was great and honest, said Steve Bethea, the father of Jalil Bethea: “Everything was great, period.”
