We were worried last year when it was announced that Oklahoma and Texas are leaving the conference and yet a year later there are four ranked teams in the remaining 8 and we are one of them. As of today OU is tied for last in the conference. As of today all four former members and the two future deserters are unranked. Colorado, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Missouri, Texas and Texas A&M. Thats 5 teams that have won a national championship that are not relevant this year. They chased the dollar and really followed a contrived plot because ten years ago the SEC wasn't all that. Even last year the Big12 was 3-0 against the mighty sec in bowl games. Crazy. Nah this espn plot to save them money, to define teams as assets and liabilities is pure hogwash. Oklahoma and Nebraska were tough in the day because they had to get by us, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, Kansas state. We made them. We weren't liabilities, heck we were their trainers for the post season.
