They are 3-5 in the Big 12, but I think they are the best team out of these last 3 games on our schedule. They having beaten TCU and Texas already supports that. They played OU to 3 points in Norman. They took KSU to 4 quarters and had chances to beat them in Manhattan. This is not a bad team.
They are 1-4 on the road though, with their lone road win coming at TCU 5 weeks ago.
They average just 21 points per game in Big 12 play.
This is not a big play offense. They grind you down. I'm looking at two of their key wins:

This is not a big play offense. They grind you down. I'm looking at two of their key wins:
- TCU game: They had 230 yards rushing, 24 first downs, and possessed the ball for 35 mins.
- Texas game: They had 28 first downs yesterday against UT! They gave Leddie Brown 33 carries, and he finished with 158 yards, but his longest run was just 26 yards. It was death by a 1,000 cuts for UT.
- TCU had 400 yards of offense against them, but just 17 points. Went 4-12 on 3rd down, and 1-3 on 4th down. The WVU defense really bowes up in the redzone.
- Texas had 350 yards of offense, but went 2-10 on 3rd down, and 0-2 on 4th down. Again, terrible redzone production for UT.
Keys for KU
- Score early and force Neal Brown away from that running game
- Never leave the redzone without any points, take field goals if necessary
- On defense, sellout against the run. Point blank, KU won't stop this offense with a balanced defense. Make them throw it. KU's chances are much better in a shootout anyway.
