We were on fumes for the final month. We could not win on the road against other Big 12 Tourny teams. We played close games against the bad conference teams. Spotty offense and soft defense. We won the conference but we did not dominate. We played terrible second halves against ISU and WSU. And now we are done.
What do we need to get better? I am no expert but I believe a really strong front court guy to help out Perry and a better outside shooter at the 2 and/or 3 position. Also some toughness on defense. It will take some new faces for next year's team to be better than this group. We may have four pretty good players on this team. Some may opt for the Pros. Beyond that we have middle of the pack Big 12 players.
