Everyone who assured us that Kansas had plenty of NIL was either lying or was fed BS by the administration because we clearly cannot match anyone's offers. It would be incredibly sad if we sacrificed over 100 years of basketball tradition to be a moderately successful football program... Our donors have been bled absolutely dry to pay for a multi-hundred million dollar stadium that will host a team that peaks with a Guaranteed Rate Bowl victory. Depressing. Hopefully the House settlement is enforceable so we aren't punished too badly in the coming years. Or a couple more alumni become billionaire investment bankers.
