Is there a possibility for an in state player like Trey Georgie, to walk on the team, red shirt a year and earn a scholarship after his freshman year, to actually come out ahead, money wise, then taking a lower division scholarship? His 1st 2 years he would pay in state tuition. He would have a full ride for 3 years. He would also get full use of the training table food for 5 years. I don't know what lower division scholarships are worth, but I don't think they are full rides.
