Mostly for the Dem leaning on here, though I am sure others will chime in very positively as always. Kamala will get the nomination especially so they can tap all the donor money already raised. While Kamala is not my first choice, it's a choice for me better than Trump. Honestly, it will be a tough race for Kamala to win given all the circumstances the past few weeks.
My top 2 choices right now would probably be Josh Shapiro from PA or Andy Beshear from Kentucky.
Whitmer while okay, I feel you couldn't put 2 women and expect to win. We aren't there yet as society hate to say it.
Newsom would be a bad choice as well. Not to mention both are from California.
Cooper could be possibly 3rd option, havent read up as much on him yet.
Mayor Pete. While I still like him, I don't think he is there yet.
I have heard of a few others floated around but not sure yet on those people yet either.
