The Jayhawks could have a nice list of unofficial visitors for the Memphis. I've been tracking down names all week and still through the morning. One of them is Davion Tyler a 6-foot-3, 190 pound defensive player from Park Hill. Although many list him as a safety KU is looking at him at linebacker.
"Kevin Kane has been the one recruiting me," Tyler said. "I first met him at junior day. They have offered me and talking about playing linebacker."
Tyler visited with his family for the South Dakota State game and said Saturday morning he might return again for the Memphis game.
"I loved the town and all of the fans at Kansas," Tyler said. "I got to see the weight room and locker rooms. They were real nice. I talked to a lot of coaches."
This morning Cameron Murray confirmed he will make the visit from Arkansas with his parents. He is a defensive tackle with a KU offer.
Two 2017 prospects with offers will also be there in Kade Remsberg from Newton and DaRon Davis from Hogan Prep. Davis was my favorite player at the Friday Night Lights camp. He's really good.
Steven Wirtel one of the best long snappers in the region will be there. His brother John is the starting LS at KU. Wirtel is being heavily recruited.
Jafar Armstrong, WR, who had a good game last night from Bishop Miege (2017) will be in attendance.
A couple of 2017 Texas players Dawson Deaton (OL from Frisco) and Nate Shelton (WR from Sachse) are making the trip.
Jeff Gurley from, Blue Valley just confirmed he will take a visit.
