Leipold said they can improve in a lot of ways. What he liked is finding a way to win with things to clean up. Said they haven't hit "what they can be" and TCU will be the biggest challenge.

Hishaw out for extended period of time and that's what he can give us right now. Saw him at hospital and was doing a lot better than expected. His father and uncle where there.

Had team doctors were there and made sure family was taken care of.

Hoping Ky Thomas is ready it is a day to day mentality. Thought he looked good today. Been utilizing a lot of people offensively.

Duggan is playing really well at TCU and Leipold was impressed with him last year completing 70% of passes and using him in run game. Deceptively fast.

Duggan is like they think of Jalon different body and can run physical.

Said there weren't many conversations with Potter and he said he wanted to redshirt and move on and that's how things are set up across the country.

The LB depth has responded and said Gilyard and McCaskill played their best collectively. They are two of the most physical LB on the inside.

Said Borland has been through this and even-keeled when asked about Sam Burt's comment that he was happy after the game. He's not the kind of guy to self promote. Said Borland was excited.

Said he watched TCU put up over 600 yards and they are the next challenge.

On Sevion he's ready to step up and worked hard.

He's excited to get ESPN GameDay in town and how the program is viewed and what it means to KU and the program. He hope it adds to atmosphere and the fan base can continue to build on and a shot in the arm for recruiting.

In terms of schedule change he has no plans to change with GameDay coming. Said with a morning game doesn't know if that will change.

On three (likely) sellouts said you have to pinch yourself seeing the crowd.

Said the DL played well and they all looked good and mentioned Tommy Dunn as making good plays while not playing a lot. Said TCU is a big, physical athletic OL.

Offensively nowhere near the team on 1st and 2nd downs as they were earlier. Penalties and other things they have to get get better at, Could see some of the similar things schematically.

TCU can rotate LBs who are fast and physical.

Asked what they can do on gameday to showcase Lawrence and Leipold mentioned Mass Street.

On being linked to other jobs: "We are extremely happy here and have no plans of going anywhere."

Said a lot of times they are focused on film room and he doesn't know what goes on the outside world a lot of the time.

On Paul Chryst it is bad that guys who average nine wins are being let go.
