Will practice Tues, Wed, Thurs and had meetings today.

Some guys will hit the road Wednesday for recruiting. He will also go out recruiting.

Guys that have a lot of game snaps may not get as many practice reps early in practice. Get a head start on Oklahoma State.

Continue to recruit internally and get out recruiting. "A big week for us," he said.

A year ago he said the same thing to the team is they will still go through the same process. He told the team if they play well in November they have a chance to play in Dec or Jan.

He likes the attitude of the team.

Said the program has come a long way. When everyone is mad with a 12-loss to Baylor it has made strides.

Said there are times when they have played confident and times they are tackling and then next thing Baylor is ripping off a 15-yard run.

They have to find a way to win a game(s). Thought they played the deep well and took away some things but didn't take away enough. Last year he said Baylor was a good team and said they are good this year.

In recruiting they are limited to days and by end of weekend will be at their limit. Have gone out some weekend this year.

Said some players got extra work in on Sundays. There is a little different pattern but close to the same this week. Said Kenny Logan stopped in his office.

Not just physically but mentally stay on top because they went eight straight weeks.

He would rather have the bye week now than earlier.

Said they are going to get their pride tested. Said anybody who has been engaged in the program knows the players keep battling.

In terms of injuries over his career said they are probably a little higher for the skill position players. He said the list of players getting banged up got longer yesterday.

Said trainers and doctors they have are the best around.

When asked about the bye week he hopes it helps all the players who are banged up. He wouldn't give any comments on specific players.

Said if asked if something stands he said the team as a whole. Said they are ahead of schedule and talked about where they predicted for win totals.

Early season explosiveness has changed with injuries or guys being out. Said the next four games will be a challenge but the players will not back down. Some areas they are stronger like depth.

Mentioned McCaskill and Gilyard giving them physicality. Gervin played the whole game at corner. Reed-Adams played his most football. Don't know how long Ford will be out.
