- Obviously they would liked to have redshirted a lot of players but the numbers didn't allow it.
- Beaty said it was close with taking Stanley's redshirt ff but they wanted to leave it on one of them. Said Stanley has improved
- Beaty said Stanley's hitch is going away. The "baseball is leaving" him Beaty said. It is muscle memory
- Beaty said Stanley gives them a different dynamic because he has a live arm and can really move around. He said it will be a good competition with Willis going forward

- Beaty said Texas is talented and well coached on defense. said some special teams miscues that cost them games
- Beaty said they have to be ready to go against Texas because they have some of the best players in the country. He said defensively they have some legit guys. He named off about five defensive guys that are going to be guys they have to account for
- When asked about Texas struggles Beaty mentioned in today's society everybody wants instant success. He said people want three years of work done in six months. Beaty said people will realize the only way you do it is sticking with it
