  • Started out by talking about Bob Davis and saying he will be missed
  • Beaty said what stands out about K-State is their ability to score points and be efficient on offense
  • Beaty said they have to be gap sound against KSU running game
  • Beaty was asked about walk ons and he said one of the main things they went after walk ons was because they needed spots bad to fill. The other thing is he said that was part of their plan.
  • Beaty said they just looked at a walk on yesterday from in state hey are going after. Didn't say the name
  • He mentioned Schadler and Glatczak
  • Beaty said back when they recruited every school in the state he learned how important KU was to people. Beaty said hey are going to do the same thing again.
  • Beaty talked about how smart KSU is and you have to beat them because they rarely beat themselves
  • He said the seniors have been great and have been goods leaders. Beaty said they have helped the program move forward
  • Beaty said the seniors were bringing a lot of energy at practice yesterday
  • Beaty said this is a big game because a lot of people in the state are watching this game. He's excited to be able to play in a rivalry game.
  • Beaty said he is "thrilled and honored" to be a part of this game. He said this about the two schools and means a lot to people
  • Beaty said Bowen started about what it meant to play against KSU. Today Kane will speak to the team
  • Beaty said they knew this year was going to be a challenge, but everyone has worked hard and they are taking it one day at a time
  • Beaty said Fish moved around okay at practice yesterday
  • Beaty said they have a lot of guys with nagging injuries just like every team. But overall they are in pretty good shape
