Greg Allen surgery on groin and Cozart still out. Miles didn't play and is struggling with his knee. He's a lot of injuries and is bothering him.

  • Jordan Shelley-Smith has a concussion and likely ruled out.
  • After watching film Beaty said he told the team try to control what they can control
  • Beaty after watching the tape said effort wasn't an issue. He thought initially it was. He said he didn't see anybody quit.
  • The defense had several chances to get OSU off the field on third down and didn't
  • Beaty said they aren't that far off and showed the kids that. Said they are also looking at themselves as coaches about what they can do.
  • OU is an unbelievably coached team. Said they have a young OL but they don't look like it.
  • Said they have a deep group of RB
  • Beaty likes their defense and said there is a reason why they rank near the top in all of the categories.
  • Beaty said OU will come after Willis. Two of the first three passes he got hit against OSU
  • They have to do a good job of protecting him and making good pass calls
  • Beaty said he likes Willis spirit and he's a "tough sucker"
  • Beaty said teams aren't nearly as spread out because the defenses have caught up with it a little
  • With homecoming Beaty said their job is to win the game for the fans
  • Beaty said Daniel Wise and the DT did a good job of getting push.
  • There were 23 missed tackles
  • Beaty said he can see the improvement of Wise. Also King got beat out and came back with a good game against OSU. Competition at DL is getting better.
  • Beaty said if Willis keeps improving he can be a really good QB in the Big 12. He was up late last nigh studying film and trying to learn
  • Beaty said McCauley will play more this week. Larry Mazyck got banged up but went back in. It looks like Jacob Bragg will start at left guard. Haughton was the OL Player of the week.
  • Beaty said he and Perry sat and watched every play on Sunday night to make sure they are teaching the right fundamentals
  • Beaty mentioned Wyman avg 43 yards a punt and said he did a good job
  • Beaty said it will be a combination of Larry and Clyde at LT. Whoever practices better
