I just confirmed with Javaris Russell he will take an official visit to KU this weekend. He and his fanily just landed at KCI about 15 minutes ago.
It was a touch and go situation I was following all week because he was committed to Mississippi State. But he de-committed to them late Thursday.
Todd Bradford has been the one recruiting him.
"I have been talking to coach Bradford now I am looking forward to seeing things in person," Russell said moments ago. "I want to see how the defense is run and get to know the coaches."
Russell, a linebacker, has offers from Kansas, Missouri, Mississippi State, Cal, Cincinnati, Memphis, and others.
