yesterday's narrow loss was no fluke-like effort. Even in the last few years when we've played teams close like yesterday, it had the feeling of "everything went right" for us and the opponent slept walk. Not saying TCU played their A game yesterday but we had more negative go against us than positive (missed FG's, holding call, Kinner no TD on the 1, etc) and were the better team. And we're young. It is so exciting to realize that we are getting closer and closer to being Big 12 competitive week in and week out.
If you would have told me before the game that Johnson, Wise, Dineen and Roberts wouldn't play, I would have told you that we would have lost by 28+ for sure... but we have some depth developing (still not an overwhelming amount) that can keep us competitive. Ready for next Saturday!
