Trump world virus “expert” Scott Atlas is leaving the White House. You may recall he is an oncologist with no expertise in epidemiology. You may also recall he made fun of public health recommendations on controlling the spread of the virus. He advocates the absurd notion of doing nothing and waiting for herd immunity to overcome the virus. Estimated deaths from this quack approach would be in excess of 1 million according to those same pesky public health experts. In Trump world the logic suggests that epidemiologists be put in charge of cancer treatments instead of oncologists. Good riddance to a bad joke on combating the virus.
