Recruiting Update Trevor Kardell's decision to pick KU had several factors

Kardell has a great story to tell. Why would a kid from Lees' Summit switch from Missouri to KU? Well for one, his mom attended KU. Second she battled breast cancer and beat it five years ago.

Kardell said she didn't go on the first junior visit and he needed her blessing before he could commit. The KU coaches sold Kardell and his family he would be taken care of.
