With the game against Illinois approaching, I’ve been thinking a little bit about the starting 5 this season. My guess is, and this is just a guess, that Dajuan Harris, Nicolas Timberlake, Kevin McCullar, Jr., KJ Adams, Jr., and Hunter Dickinson will start out the season as KU’s five starters. I think the injury to Johnny Furphy will make it difficult for him to begin the season in the starting rotation. I’m interested to see how he performs early on, along with Elmarko Jackson.
