Until he was injured, this was Ben Goodman's best game as a Jayhawk. He was all over the field. I really hope he isn't hurt long term.
Willis has a big time arm but the thing that looked really impressive yesterday was his release. It was quick, very quick and when he had to mover his release stayed consistent. Keep him heathy, put 15 points of muscle on him, and I think we may have the best QB in the conference when he is a Junior.
Whether it is talent and/or coaching, our secondary has a long way to go.
The effort of the team was awesome. They played to win and given the state of things that is pretty incredible. Regardless of TT's effort, our guys played their butts off.
One other thing. I cannot recall seeing a sideline that had that many guys not in pads. It was over 20.
If and it is a big if, we have enough of our number ones healthy enough to play against K-State, we have a real shot to win that game.
