Those that think this NCAA investigation is going to cripple KU basketball, what exactly are the sanctions you expect?

Comparatively speaking, even if all they say is true (which is not provable), it is not as if the transgressions are horribly worse than things other programs have done while not receiving program ending punishment.

It would suck, but if we lost one year of post season, a scholarship or two, and maybe Self sat for the early part of the season, I don't see that dooming the future of the program. If anything, I could see it lighting a fire.

Clemence seems like a kid that genuinely wants to be at KU, that is likely playing more than one year, and very possibly sticks despite some sanctions. If we lose a couple recruiting spots, we are going to have to make things work with fewer recruits for the short period, but Self only plays 8 or 9 anyway. If this plays out, we likely don't see sanctions until 2021, so this years recruiting class is probably onboard.

We lose seniors Garrett, Teahen, and Silvio after this year, plus anyone that would jump pro. Non grad transfers would have to sit a year for transferring, so it would make more sense to simply take the year here and play.

McCormack, Muscadin, Clemence as post guys in the off year would be OK.

Braun, Wilson, Enaruna, Jossel, Elliot, Harris on the perimeter, not a horrible group.

And, that does not include Grant-Foster and Agbagi who technically could still be here.

Even with a slight sanction, there will still be good players, not one and dones, that would want to come play for Self even if year one, their development year, we weren't going to the tourney.
