It seems to me that our government (and not just one party exclusively) is willing and seemingly probable trying to grow the impoverished class. Our welfare class gets bigger as more dollars and benefits are thrown their way. I am not blaming the recipients. I just don't understand why money is spent on getting out of this rut. I had the fleeting thought that a good reason is that without the benefits there would be an actual physical revolt against our government and our leaders choose to placate the underclass to keep the lid on the cauldron. I wish I could say that is a totally inane thought, but after 50 years of "welfare" there isn't much evidence to the contrary..
