Obviously people are cord cutting but will sports end up making it the same cost as cable? There's a massive amount of different services and that creates a real possibility you'll have to subscribe to several to get the games you want. Notre Dame's first game will be on peacock and I'm sure they'll have an ACC game or two on ESPN +. CBS owns Paramount + so I'm sure they will have games in the future. Fox Sports will likely do a streaming service.
