As some may remember, I was one of the fan owners of the Salt Lake Screaming Eagles, a franchise that was completely owned by fans and the fans picked the plays. Ended up being a success with the team finishing 5-11 and having a deal with Twitch to broadcast games that garnered hundreds of thousands of views.
The Screaming Eagles are now the first team in the new FCFL. The league will have 8 teams, all controlled by the fans. The teams will all be located in one city and instead of being in an arena they are going to use a production studio with a field and some seating. There's going to be all kinds of cams, live streaming from helmet cams,etc. The teams are also going to have "personality" akin to WWE. For instance, one team would be like The U or the Raiders, Screaming Eagles could be "america's team" etc.
Fans will be voting on team names, uniforms,the draft,playcalling, hiring or firing of coaches and players, and son. Fans will pick a team to own and if their team wins the championship then the team and fans share a $1,000,000 prize.. Voting power will be determined by Fan Tokens. It's a utility token and runs through some system that provides total transparency.
In January the public Fan Token sale will begin and the season is slated to start this summer.
