A lot of concerning words were made by plenty of us during the last few weeks. All of them were legitimate, focusing around one single topic; does Les Miles have that "it" factor to lead KU Football? From his age, to his lack of offensive creativity at LSU, to handling a "Flyover Country" school with little history of success, to recruiting, and so much more; all of those subtopics have been thoroughly discussed with plenty of fine tooth combs.

Yesterday was a day when we were given some answers to some of those questions.
  • His body looks more than well enough to handle coaching again; no idea of how long of an adjustment period he will need, but with him being more of a CEO HC, he will not have to do as much.
  • He said all of the right things, that we wanted to hear, in reference to the style of offense we want to see. Simply put, he said that he will take what he is given and use it
  • He sees the potential in KU Football, because of his relationship with Jeff Long, who has proven himself to not play around with the building up the KU Football program.
  • He wants to let the 500 mile radius know that he is in town and ready to bring in some quality athletes, along with making some key visits to specific areas, such as various TX hotbeds, Louisiana, and JUCOs.
He is off to a healthy start.
