Thinking about seating at the Booth as I was mowing today. With the new style of chair backs it appears to be possible to add seating without additional construction. The seats are supposed to be wider both for seat and leg room. In looking at the Irwin Seating Company website The seats available range between 22" and 26" wide. It appears that the seat and the chair backs are one unit that are screwed or bolted to a rail of some sort. For the sake of this post let's assume there will be 40,000 new chair backs installed in a variety of red, white and blue, both light and dark, in the new Booth Stadium. If that is the case could there be a possibility, if demand necessitated additional seating, to remove the wider seats and install a more narrow seat? If those chair backs were 26" wide when initially installed that would be 1,040,000 linear inches of seating. If in the future there was a need for more seats by switching to a 24" wide chair backs that would up the total seating capacity to 43,333. Switching to 22" wide chair backs would raise capacity to 47,272. That would seem to be an economical way to add seats without new construction. People may not be content with going to a more narrow seat "butt", it would be less expensive than adding on.
