It's naive to think all those kids stick around and that even the majority of them pan out into multi year starters. However, that is 33 kids out of high school coming on campus all in a small period time that this staff can start to develop rather than look for kids from other schools or juco to save them.
Combine those numbers with the fact that they added a handful of guys that have more than 2 years (Perdue, Ford, Dezir, and Rhoads) and you have almost 40 kids not leaving the program within 18 months of getting to campus.
Oh and Duckworth is the most physically gifted LB to sign at KU in the last 15 years. His film is scary good, reminded me of Brandon Duncan's film as he runs around and just shreds guys.
