Landen Lucas was held out-of-action against Long Beach State, and minutes after the game, Bill Self provided the very latest update on Lucas.
“He nicked himself up here recently and has kind of been playing through it,” said Self. “At shoot around today, you could just see, he moved one way and he kind of cringed and told Bill (Cowgill) he was going to look at it, but he said if he felt the same way he felt at shoot around, he didn’t think he could go.
“After we did our little warm-up, initially, he came back and said he didn’t think he could go,” he added. “No, I have no idea (how long he’ll be out).”
