Based on Booker's comments on the Slant podcast, KU is aiming for 3500 more season ticket sales. Nothing is more important than building the football season ticket base. What ideas does everyone have that could help generate season ticket sales? A season ticket holder gift or at least one for first time season ticket holders? One game ticket buyback (at a value KU assigns)? I feel like a common objection is I can't go to all the games so what if KU would take one game back (at least 2 weeks before the game). How about a concession stand credit? One game pass for the Williams Fund tailgate tent? Some sort of VIP experience - player autograph, pregame field pass, etc.
I'd be curious to hear from someone that has not bought season tickets but seriously considered it, what would get you over the hump to buy? I was in Minnesota this past week and ran into a Wichita family that was sending their kid to KU in the fall. They said they were considering getting season tickets. Does it take having your kid at KU to consider it? So maybe a discount (like 10% on up to 2 tickets) for families that have a student at KU?
