On May 12th 2017 history was made. Both teams are currently owned by Fanchise and the game was the first game in professional sports history where fans for BOTH teams called the plays. Where do things go from here? Fanchise has partnered with Twitch.tv to start the first ever completely interactive football league. It will be known as the Interactive Football League. Once the 2017 season is over the Crush and Screaming Eagles will be sold to the Indoor Football League so Fanchise can focus on the new league. Fans will call plays for all the teams. The league is currently scouting potential cities. Another unique aspect of the new league is that the plan is to have all the teams in one city thus cutting down travel expenses,etc.
It hasn't been announced yet but I imagine Fanchise and Twitch.tv will have a crowd funding campaign. Once that starts I'll go ahead and post a link for anyone interested.
