For the first time, 3 students will sit on Seattle School Board
Three Seattle Public Schools students were chosen to serve as the district's first student board members. Their terms begin in the fall.

First I have heard of current students being on a school district board. Non-voting of course but they will be able to give thoughts and ideas adults do not think of.
