Now that KU has apparently made some type of offer to Rudzik, I will mention that he was named to the Hutchinson News all area team and was the defensive player of the year. I know that this is not the biggest deal ever but it is a nice accolade. He was quoted as saying that KU's offer was like a burden off his shoulders and that he had been working to get one and he finally got it. Quoted his coach and opposing coaches raving about his athleticism, instincts, and toughness. He may very well be hoping for a KSU offer but didn't say so. I guess we 'll see.
