Well, a bit earlier than I would have liked, but, it's baseball season.
What are your thoughts on the upcoming season? I'm cautiously optimistic that we'll remain in contention throughout the season. The loss of Ventura is tragic, and Volquez was not our best, but was our surest consistency bet. I like the Hamel signing, and am intrigued by Karns in the 5 hole, but Duffy makes the rotation (#hottake). If he can consistently show the top of the rotation stuff he did last year we'll be in good shape 1-5 (Vargas being the biggest question mark for me).
My biggest worry is in the bullpen. With the loss of Davis (I approve of the trade), I'm not sure our bullpen can sustain it's dominance, and I'm not sure our offense can make up the run differential necessary.
