So, Royals heads, what are we thinking of the offseason so far? Cut bait on Bubba and Franco, good pre-arbitration deals with Hahn and Junis, avoided arbitration with Soler and Dozier on fair deals, signing Minor and Santana now....it feels like they are having a pretty good offseason and spending weirdly larger amounts of money than I expected. The biggest question mark moves for me so far have been signing Taylor (not a fan of the signing generally, but certainly not for that money and that early--he would have been there for less two months from now) and cutting loose Mejia and Guzman. But overall, it seems like they are making some moves to try to be playoff contenders maybe a little sooner than I would have guessed. What do the baseball nerds think so far?
