I meant to post this earlier, so let me apologize now for the delay. I saw on the football board (https://kansas.forums.rivals.com/threads/rip-thoreman79.103088/page-2#post-2007733) that a valuable member of our JayhawkSlant.com community and overall great man, Thorneman79, recently passed away. I didn't know Thorneman79 outside of this site, but I can tell you that he brought a lot to this community with his personality. I've had my fair share of struggles the past couple of years, and on a number of occasions, Thorneman79 reached out via private message with words of support. I can tell you when my dad passed away, Thorneman79 was one of the first people to contact me.
Again, I didn't know Thorneman79 outside of JayhawkSlant.com, but if anybody here knows his family, please let them know that we're all thinking about them during this most difficult time. Please, send them many thoughts and prayers, along with much love. Man, my heart hurts when I think about Thorneman79 leaving us. Take care and best wishes, my friend. You might be gone, but never forgotten.

Off Topic - Needing some Jayhawk love!
I'm back in the ICU at LMH battling pneumonia and a nasty UTI. These last 2 months have been quite the challenge for me. One surgery followed by an emergency surgery with a incision that took forever to heal. Now back in this joint and it sucks! I typically don't like to ask for things myself...
