Government thugs are beating and shooting demonstrators. People are laying dead in the streets, one of the few remaining TV stations that is not state owned was shut off for broadcasting footage and not putting a pro-government spin on their commentary. The government is blaming all of the violence on the protesters.
I look at cnn.com, huffpost, fox, etc. None of this is front page news anywhere in the U.S. media. You would think we would care considering the amount of oil we buy from them.
I know most don't care about the stability or lack thereof within most foreign governments (Except maybe the middle east) but on the front page of cnn.com is a story about someone who died from a mail bomb.
