I am really happy with our current recruiting. In the past we would be in on some higher ranked recruits, but it always seemed like we only made a couple of lists for really talented kids, the odds played out and we might get a couple higher ranked players in a class and end up filling out the class with some plan C, late in the game recruits.
This staff is positively connected with so many talented kids compared to what we have seen in the past. Plus, we appear to be involved in so many different regions. We are always going to lose out on some of these final commitments, but the more lists we make the better chance we have of landing top tier kids. It could be the sunshine pumper in me, but it feels like we are simply recruiting at a different level when it comes to talent and numbers.
I really hope we get to have something that closely resembles a real football season this fall.
