Here are three guys KU has offered that are all similar sized and all are head hunters, but slightly different skillsets. I would take any of these three all-day-every-day, but am curious how you would rank these three prospects. In alphabetical order:
1.) Kamren Curl - of the three, he might be the most "true" safety of the bunch. Reminds me some of Kevin Short (who I know played CB, also played safety his freshman year at Fort Scott) and even plays some WR. Kid is a playmaker
2.) Gervarrius Owens - I would say he is most likely to fit that hybrid NB spot of a guy that is part safety and part LB. Had something like 6 sacks and a few INTs. Flies all over
3.) Robert Topps - A recent offer according to the Twitter-verse, I would argue he has the best cover skills of the bunch and may be a CB (or FS in our league), but like the others he isn't scared to put a hit on the offensive guy
