I think we all agree that if Leipold can turn KUFB into a consistent winner KU will see a big bump in both stadium and TV "attendance". And I think the intrigue of a low performer climbing back into competition will attract some national attention to see if they can keep going. But do we have any idea how much of a change we could see if KUFB became successful again?
If anyone has readily available data on how KUFB "attendance" -- both in Memorial and on TV -- changed over the years from the Glen Mason days through at least the 2009 season, and preferably through 2019, I think that would be very interesting for projection purposes. If not, c'est la vie.
