I continually see our bigs try to take it straight up. I will give perry credit because for the first time ever he initiated the contact at the rim and subsequently got to the line. However, everyone else try's to out quick the defender and go straight up leading to shot blocks. Why we haven't adjusted and kept with the out quick thing but then add a pump fake is beyond me. When you are undersized you have to find ways to be crafty. Our boys need to watch some tape of Richard Scott and see that it isn't always about size but using our body and ball fakes to gain an advantage.
