We purchased a piece of land with four ponds about a year ago. There are four ponds that we eventually want to do this to, but, One of our ponds is on the opposite of the property and we would have to run electric about 1/4 mile to get power back there.
The problem is that it is in the middle of the woods so it doesn’t get much air flow and has a lot of moss and growth.
I would like to get a fountain or aerator but have no experience with that or solar powered aerators.
Does anyone have any recommendations or has anyone used a solar powered aerator?
Or is there anyone from the state of kansas that can come out and give us advice?
