..three consecutive road games, is a very tall task for a program trying to rebuild from ground zero and two-thirds through the second year. You can see the improvement in our home games but on the road playing top 20 teams is not something we are ready for yet.
Our talent level is slowly improving. We have to find one more JC QB or transfer to come in and compete with Stanley and Starks for next year. Bring in more solid talent in this upcoming recruiting class and continue to develop the talent we have. Need a QB coach and offensive coordinator.
I am quite sure Beaty is kicking himself for not bringing in a JC QB for this current season. While Cozart may start against ISU, if he doesn't win the game for us, we will likely see Stanley for the last two games as the starter to see what the kid has. I won't be shocked if Stanley starts against ISU, but more likely is Cozart has a short leash and Stanley comes quickly if we get down by more than 10 points.
