Living in Lincoln, I have seen first-hand how a community can become volleyball crazy. I really think KU can establish a consistently great program and simulate that type program to a degree.
If this happens, how long until KU needs to expand on the Horejsi complex? 1300 seats just isn't that many and those seats are already sold out this year. NU is putting 10,000 (I think) in every game. I bet we could do 5,000 with another good season.
Sorry, I know it's not football but I really think KU volleyball is the next big program at KU and volleyball is exciting to watch. Keagan actually has a pretty good article in today's LJW. If you can get tickets go support the team.
