We're screwed. Why is it that everyone believes bigs should choose KU over all other schools? Because Bill Self is best at developing them, better than every coach there is in college. I'm not saying I don't want one in this class, in fact I would be extremely disappointed. But if it doesn't happen, we still have a chance at 12, we still have a chance to make a deep run.
Seeing the posts the last couple of weeks on this site, it sounds like a major meltdown is on the horizon if we strike out on bigs. It's been said time and time again, and I feel it bears repeating: Never doubt Bill Self. He is way too good of a coach to not be in a position to win any given game no matter who he has on the court.
FWIW, I feel we will get Diallo, Ingram, and Thorne Jr. But if we do not, I will not give up on next season because I truly believe Self can and will coach his way to #12, just like he has the last 11 years.
