The FL GOP has passed bills aimed at criminalizing actions common to their political opponents, and created a 'police force' that answers to the Governor/Sec. of State specifically for enforcing laws. Yeah...that's pretty much step 2 in any authoritarian handbook (step 1: discredit and dismantle the free press).
