No Ceilings substack's Tyler Metcalf wrote an in-depth analysis on April 1 on how Christian Braun has improved attacking close outs. While he has made some progress, Braun needs to significantly improve his ability to finish at the rim in traffic to be a good rotational player at the next level in my opinion.
No Celings -- Christian Braun Attacking Close Outs
While Braun may be 6'7" in shoes, his short arms make him play shorter when finishing at the rim. If I'm Braun, I'd be watching a lot of tape on Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz. After Mitchell was drafted, the Jazz told Mitchell he needed to master several finishing moves at the rim -- floaters, how to play when jumping off one foot, etc.
