Asked a writer from another site if NFL draft was in the cards for JD and also if we want to bring him back.
The writer replied that Kansas will do everything in its power to bring back JD for his final season of college ball.
I think this says two things:
1. JD has never lost the faith of the staff and they knew it was a matter of when not if that he starts looking like JD again. He’s obviously been his old self and he’s a top QB in football when he’s himself.
2. Marshall is not close to ready. So the idea of having to start him, Ballard, or a transfer is what we are looking at and they much prefer JD. Which is a no brainer in my opinion.
@JK what are you hearing? JD loses his best teammates with Devin, Grimm, Arnold, Skinner all leaving. But I think Lance and JD have a strong connection.
