Effort and emotion are things that require no talent whatsoever. As a team and program that will be outmanned much of the time, effort and emotion have to be there. Watching our team trot out onto the field today, the fire just wasn't there. And once the game started, it was no different. This was by far the most concerning thing about today for me. The D showed no fire or pride in getting dominated the first 30 minutes. They stepped up some in the second half, but this team just can't afford to come out flat like that and expect to have a chance.
