This could be the busiest week of the spring recruiting season when it comes to the transfer portal.

There could be as many as six official visitors on campus this week and it started over the weekend with Davion Westmoreland from Hutchinson CC.

The word is they will push Westmoreland for a commitment during the visit because if he leaves and spends a day or two away without committing it would be a concern.

While Westmoreland is leaving the arrival of Marvin Grant, LV Bunkley-Shelton and Kaine Williams will all happen today.

Bunkley-Shelton took an official visit to Oklahoma that started on Thursday and ended on Saturday. Sources close to Oklahoma felt confident they would get him, and he would back off his other visits.

But he did not give them a commit and is expected to arrive in Lawrence today.

Last year at Arizona State he had 33 catches for 418 yards.

Two defensive backs will start their visits today in Kaine Williams from Alabama and Marvin Grant from Purdue.

Grant had 75 tackles last year for Purdue from his safety position. He has played his recruiting very close to the vest, but it is believed KU has as good a shot as any school.

He played his high school football at Martin Luther King in Detroit and was teammates with current KU linebacker Rich Miller.

Williams is set to visit KU and Nebraska and have heard Tulane could also be a player. Williams is from Louisiana. One source told me Nebraska is someone to watch because of Mickey Joseph. The associate head coach is from Louisiana and has strong ties to the area.

Will update this thread if I get any more information.
