I'm sure he's probably a nice guy and a good Kansas Citian but he really is quite annoying with his radio calls. He had these gems today "sweet nectar of the end zone", "Zombo got out his 20 gauge for that fg block" and "awaiting election results"(in reference to other scores).
Between him and Len the radio call is pretty much unbearable!
And before someone jumps on me for bagging on the old man my view is this. He's had an amazing life. He's accomplished and done things many only dream about and that's awesome, good for him. Doesn't give him a pass on being out of touch with the game today and unable to be compelling in his current position as color commentator. We know Len, penalties and turnovers...they are killers. Thanks for the insight.
